created by the people we are studying this session. This a chance for you to look at the objects people
created in the past and to make conclusions about how those objects helped explain that past.

Research and Sources: Obviously you need to view the site containing images of your work of art. You can
use general websites for general information but you must include at least THREE (3) scholarly works of
history and can include books or journal articles.
Requirements: Completed essays should be between 750-1000 words in length. All essays should be in
Times New Roman 12pt font and double-spaced. All essays should have a meaningful title (Short Essay is
