Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Character
A physical setting associated with the character: My home
A physical action you can picture the character performing: eating, workout in the backyard, sleeping, reading,
watching you tube
A visual detail to describe the character: tall, big, Asian boy, Bored
A phrase you think the character would habitually use in conversation: Boring
A detail of the character’s clothing: grey sweatpants, tank top, black socks, nerdy glasses
A food you associate with your character: bento box
A memory important to your character: the normal life, not quarantining. Being outside, and enjoying the sunshine.
Something your character strongly wants or hopes for: the end of covid and quarantine. Playing outside and enjoying the weather.
Something your character is afraid of: takes another year to end the quarantine
A scent associated with your character: scent of tea.
A metaphor or simile to describe the character: an animal in the zoo
The character’s job or principal occupation: Student
A secret the character has never told anyone: He kind of enjoyed the quarantine life in the beginning because he can play video games, and enjoy the “ lazy” life.
