  1. It is about designing and analyzing a portal composite frame.
  2. all the loads are given and no need to calculate the wind loads, but you should consider the most critical load.
  3. the design should be in accordance to the BS EC standard, UK National Annex.
  4. the design should be for an internal frame ONLY.
  5. The structural analysis part (D3) should be calculated by HAND and not by software, and most importantly should be very CLEAR AND NEAT as well as in step by step procedure.
  6. Anything taken from the mentioned standard should be referenced so I can go there and have a look.
  7. Each part should be separated, e.g. D1 … D7 should be separated, this would help me to understand the procedure for each part.
  8. You can use equation 6.10 only for the load combination and no need for using 6.10a and 6.10b
