Unemployment Report

In the HR department, part of your budget includes employer payroll taxes. In looking over the numbers, your
manager noticed that your company’s unemployment taxes seem high. You are paying both Federal and State
unemployment tax. She asked you to prepare a report explaining what goes into figuring out how much your
company owes in unemployment taxes. She also wants your recommendations for things the Human
Resources department can do to improve these numbers.
Prepare this report for your manager using information specific to your state. It should be approximately two
pages, and use at least two sources other than our eText. APA style is required.
