We discussed the challenges and opportunities of working with more than one person. Describe an
experience where you were the “other person” in the room during a client consultation. Ideally, you would
describe an experience where you attended a client interview/consultation as a student observer or student
volunteer. Alternatively, you may describe an experience where you were asked to accompany a friend or
family member for support, translation/interpretation or another reason. Without sharing any details about the
client, comment on your role as “the other person” in the room and describe whether you saw this as a positive
or negative experience for the client. What stood out to you from this experience.
